Applied Learning Programme
The Applied Learning Programme (ALP) is one of Springfield’s distinctive programmes which aims to expose our students to various Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related fields with the focus in the Health Sciences domain. The school’s Applied Learning Programme (ALP) explores the Health Sciences through providing experiences in the area of General Physiology, Sports Science, and Well-being of the Aged and the Over-weight. The ALP curriculum in the Lower Secondary is designed to provide an engaging, enlightening and an explorative experience in the Health Sciences. The ALP curriculum has a strong emphasis on promoting the "maker's culture" in our students while building content and awareness in the area of Health Sciences.
