Tech Council wins 1st Prize in the Cyber Warriors & Investigators Challenge 2014 at Temasek Poly

Three teams competed at the Cyber Warriors & Investigators Challenge at Temasek Poly on 18th July 2014 and our team of four girls has emerged champions!

The competition involved students in a sequence of games that challenged their analytical, mathematical and logical thinking skills. Our teams competed against several other schools to complete a series of problems.

Our girls team displayed quick-thinking and was very focused on not wanting to be the last team standing.  Against all odds and beyond expectations, they clinched the first prize.

The girls are Shannon Lim (leader from 3G), Nicole Soh (3F), Rachel Soh (3E) and Teo Hui Min (3C).

The competition was organised by the staff and students (including former Springfield Infocomm Club members) from the Diplomas of Cyber Digital and Digital Forensics. SPF/Temasek Poly Alumni Sunny Neo who was a special guest at the event spoke well of our school and cheered for our Springfielders.

Our win is a great morale booster to both teachers and students in Tech Council. We look forward to more competitions to spur our students to succeed.
